DIY Halloween Costumes; no crafting involved.

UPDATE-
I get about one email a week (which is crazy funny to me) about where I got my inflatable cow costume. My Mom bought it for me at Party City about ten years ago, so I can't help too much. Sorry!

I used to hate halloween, probably because I dressed like this:
What pre-teen goes as a pizza for Halloween? Not even an appetizing pizza, mind you. Also I could bet you ten dollars I am wearing DC Skate Shoes with this outfit. But that is neither here nor there.
Like, what? Why did I ever believe a GINORMOUS INFLATABLE COW would be a cute thing to be more Halloween?
Then I invested in this bad boy.
The type you buy in a plastic bag in one of those creepy pop up Halloween stores (related: I have a theory on how these Halloween store people and Carnis' all travel together. Talk to me in person.) and that has lasted me a few years. This summer I lost the pirate hat and so now I am in need of a new costume. I am also not willing to buy one because of my upcoming Boston trip. So I looked in my closet and here is what I came up with. I think they are both sexy yet classy. I have seen some slutty costumes I will never un-see at The Howl for the past five years. These options are great!
The Ringmaster

I randomly have a tiny top hat that I bought from F21 in High School. H&M has some amazing leather gloves right now that will be of great use in the winter. I found a red vest from thrift store and I have the most fabulous pair of striped pants from F21 Plus Size that are the most comfortable pants I own. Put these all together and BAM, Ring Master!

The Cat!

This is super simple yet really cute and comfortable. Leather peplum, leopard leggings, red lipstick, a cat eye, some ears, some hot heels, and bam!
What are your Halloween plans? Mark and I are going to The Howl this year because of the concert as well as a few Halloween parties. I am especially excited for the Murder Mystery party we are attending.
Oh Fall, you are the best, aren't ya?
